Victims of Sex and Labor Trafficking Healthcare Expenses Fundraiser

All proceeds from these sales will be used to fund the healthcare expenses for the 15 women and 1 man who are survivors and current victims of sex and labor trafficking in Bamenda, Cameroon, Africa. Through our association with Mercy Seed Outreach, an organization located in the epi-center of our subject pool, we will be able to work with this specific subset to build their creative problem solving, cognitive and effective skills, positive psychology behaviors, emotional well-being practices, leadership practices, and non-physical and physical self-defense skills within an applied creative, affirmative environment. Our number one goal is to work to provide long-term solutions, support, and adaptability to our subject pool in our effort to eradicate the cycle of human trafficking in Bamenda, Cameroon.

Currently, we have a specific cohort member that is in dire need of medical intervention. She has been diagnosed with severe and painful leiomyomas, otherwise known as uterine fibroids. Through her debilitating pain, she had continued to fight alongside us in our efforts to end the cycle of human trafficking. Though we have been able to locate a physician who is willing to operate, the costs of the procedure still pose a challenge. We hope that with your help, we will be able to get her back on the road to healing, both physically and emotionally. We cannot express the thanks and gratitude we have for each of you willing to support our cause.
